40 New Jobs Announced in Enterprise Rent-A-Car
EnterpriseRent-A-Car Continues to Expand in Ireland
Enterprise Rent-A-Car today (Monday 7th January 2013) announced that they are expanding their business in Ireland and are looking to hire 40 new full time staff in the next few months. The company is also looking for a further 15 part time positions and up to 30 Intern positions. These roles are open to graduates of any discipline as Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an award winning Graduate Management Training Programme and the company invest heavily in staff development.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Ireland already employs 120 full time staff and over 50 part time workers in its 22 branches across Ireland. The company, part of the Global Enterprise Rent-A-Car Group, has a “promote from within” culture which means that the Company’s full-time employees all start out in the Management Training Program. This allows everyone to learn the Enterprise business from the ground up and to understand how they play a significant role in seeing it succeed.
Speaking at the announcement today, George O’Connor, Managing Director of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Ireland said, “When we started Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Ireland 16 years ago, primarily working with the insurance companies and the AA, there were just the two of us. We had about 10 cars in our fleet then. We are delighted, sixteen years later, that we are continuing our expansion with year on year growth for the past number of years. We now have over 3,000 cars and vans on the road and we will employ 160 people by the end of the year in a full time capacity. The business and the country has changed a lot in the last sixteen years and Enterprise has listened to its customers and continued to be flexible and in doing so has survived and grown through the recession. Our commercial fleet has also helped a lot of businesses continue to do business in Ireland in these tough years.”
